I find it entertaining that Medic is wearing the ushanka in what Russians consider the feminine manner.  It’s a machismo thing- Real Men aren’t about to admit their ears are freezing off, so only women are “allowed” to put the earlaps down.  Most of the rest of the world, myself included, will put the earlaps down when it seems warranted. Medic MAY just be displaying German pragmatism cos his ears are cold.  However, as with the Geisha Boy, he may once again be tacitly declaring that he is Heavy’s waifu.
